Serial Port Profiles
Wait Before
Cycling Power
Enables a delay before cycling the power on the plug. This delay allows for the
sending of notification(s) of the impending power cycle. Notifications can be
sent to a user on the console port of the host being monitored and/or via email.
This gives system administrators the time to take appropriate action.
Default: Disabled
z Delay—Specify a delay (in minutes) before cycling the power on the plug.
Default - 5 Minutes
Send Notification—Specify the desired notification to be sent advising of the
impending power cycle.
z By Email—Send an email. Details configured in “Email Alert” tab.
z To Serial Port—Send a message to the serial port associated with this
power plug. This is usually the console port on the host being monitored.
